Utah Lift Ticket Deals

Ski season has officially begun in Utah. To help avoid paying colossal ticket prices at the resorts, we put together a list of resort ticket deals for any situation to ski or snowboard on any winter day at Utah’s top ski resorts.

Calling in Sick and Weekend Warrior Deals:

If you are making a spur of the moment decision to head up to the mountains during the week or on the weekend, the best places to pick up a day pass are: Canyon Sports, AJ Motion Sports, Ski’n See, Utah Ski & Golf and if you have a membership, Costco. Passes are discounted up to 30% off depending on the resort.

If you have some extra time to plan out your day adventure buying your pass online will save you another 5-10% off your day ticket price. Check out Liftopia.com, SkiCoupons.com and Visitsaltlake.com. Online passes are limited and some restrictions may apply.

Just want to catch a Few Runs Before the Day is over:

Alta is just for skiers, but if you fit into the two-plank category, you can ski for free any day after 3 pm on the Sunnyside Lift.

You can also take advantage of night skiing at Brighton. On SkiCoupons.com they have a buy one night skiing lift ticket get one free Tuesday – Saturday 4-9 pm special.

For the Kids:

SkiUtah.com has a 5th & 6th Grade Passport program.  There is a onetime $25.00 processing fee, but basically all Utah fifth graders ski or ride three times free at each of Utah’s 14 resorts and all sixth can ski or ride one time free at each resort.

Most ski resorts will allow kids under 6 to ski for free with a paying adult.

Always wanted to try it:

Park City Mountain Resort has a Start Now program. If you have never tired skiing or snowboarding before, this is a great way to test the waters.  It includes a five-session program at $40.00 a day. Price includes lift access, lessons, and equipment rental.

Random Deals:

For the second year in a row the cottonwood canyon resorts are offering a Super Pass. Passes can be purchased for one to six days within a seven-day period beginning on the date of its first use. No blackout dates apply and passes can serve as fare payment on UTA trax and buses.

In December, Brighton has its annual $20.00 Quad Wednesday’s for charity. Each week is a different donation item, for full details visit check out the upcoming events on BrightonResort.com.
